Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message is that of Oneness and Love
ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਹੈ ਸੋਇ ॥
That the Divine is not separate from us.
We all are brothers & sisters of the same Father. The whole universe is the Divine Himself. We all are One!
Most of us don’t experience the Divine within us
ਕਿਵ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਹੋਈਐ ਕਿਵ ਕੂੜੈ ਤੁਟੈ ਪਾਲਿ ॥
We don’t realize the Divine within us because there are some blinds before our eyes.
In order to remove these blinds, and realize the Divine within us, our consciousness needs to be purified; our ego needs to be eradicated.
How to remove these blinds?
Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji shows us The Path, the way to live life, walking on which the Divine can be realized within each one of us
ਸੇਈ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਾਹ ਜਿਨੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
ਅਠੀ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਰਹਨਿ ਇਕਤੈ ਰੰਗਿ ॥
Recite God’s Name and with His Grace, He will reveal Himself within us.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji brought the sacred word “Waheguru”, the reciting of which invokes the presence of God inside us.
Please practice feeling the Divine through remaining with the word “Waheguru”, or remain awake to the Truth that we are carrying God within us.
